As an artist Hediye defines herself as the unlikely blend of Eastern upbringing and Western existence in the 21st century.
Her work centres on the struggles of being a first generation immigrant; and trying to mediate familial and cultural expectations with her outspoken and crude self-expression.
Her poetry provides a cross-section into her life in order to shine a mirror on shared human experiences, no matter how different we may appear at first glance.

Originally from Hastings, Luke’s poetry often works through his journey from a small town to the big city, with a couple of pit stops along the way.
